Admission to nursing school is based upon your GPA in college when you are taking the prerequisite courses for admission to the nursing program. All that is required from high school is the fact that you graduated. This is the case most of the time. Very few nursing programs admit students straight from high school anymore. So you have a chance to start over in college and make it into nursing school.

    Very possible

I know at the Nursing School I am attending, you can test into the LPN program without a GPA, then as long as you can pass the admissions testing for the college, You can take your RN pre-req's keep a 2.5 College GPA min and score well on your NLN test (or whatever its called now), and you will be good to go... some places (like my school) give you priority into the RN program if you already passed their PN program. (and get advanced placement). good luck,

If you only look at my high school transcrip you wouldn't want me as a Nurse. look at my college transcrip and you see Deans List grades (thats 3.5 or higher). Go figure?

Never let the pass ditate your future. There is always a way even if it takes going around the way to get there. All the best.
