i am a brand new nurse passed my boards 2/6/10. i am now working in ltc. can anyone tell me when i will begin to feel like i know what i am doing?

Welcome to the wonderful world of being a newly licensed nurse! So glad you found us.

I will be honest, it will take a while, but you'll get the hang of it. Many of us old timers can learn from you newbies, remember that.

You'll gain confidence quickly, but there will always be new things you find out you didn't know. That's why they call it "practicing".
