I hope so however these replacement nurses can't control the nurses on strike to call them "scabs" though they have good intentions eh.
I'm kinda curious by this statement in the article:One firm is offering $1,600 for one day's work plus four hours of orientation while the other is offering $2,224 for one day plus eight hours of orientation. Travel and lodging expenses also are covered.
If the hospitals can spend this much on replacement nurse, why not spend the money in answering the problems of the nurses on strike? Whew! Just can't understand the stubbornness and ego of these hospitals...
