Am hoping this works. Been having problems posting for the past few days.

It's Flag Day, and I hope you all are flying the flag.

You guys ok? If I do have problems posting, I will PM someone to let you all know, eh?

Fly the flag on my right shoulder at least 5 days a week.

It's my 'adopted' uncle's birthday today; he was just talking about his tour in 'Nam. He stated his group would remove flag from worn shirt, and reapply to whatever they'd have available. Good way to prevent desecration.

Outstanding! Be sure to bring her inside at sunrise, unless your porch light keeps the stars & stripes shining bright throughout the night.

Good to hear... hate to see an unserviceable flag still in use.

Mine is easily changed out since it is velcro'd to the uniform.

I know the flag is supposed to be illuminated at night, but the job doesn't know that: both lights are out.

Unsat & unacceptable answer but easily resolved. Educate your place of employment on proper US flag etiquette & insist they make the lights operable.

Easily said, hard to do. Unlicensed staff (non-certified aides) seem to call the shots, so to speak, and it takes one FT maintainance guy and 2 PT guys to do ANYthing. (We had one guy a year ago who seemed to do it all.....)

    I could try, though.
