Got to get ready to go to my granddaughter's 8th grade graduation this morning. Most excitement I've seen in a long time.
OK, folks; it's Thursday. That means we have today and tomorrow, and then the weekend is here. Anyone got any plans? slap I do believe the lawn needs cutting. It's either that, or call in a couple of sheep to do the job. Or is that import moose?
Anyhow, hope to see a few of you stop by today.
MICU, glad you stopped by yesterday. What's been going on?

Now the fun begins: High School!
Good Thrusday to you all.
I just posted in yesterday's thread that I would start a post as to my absence. However, since you asked in this thread, I will respond here. Thanks for asking.
My mother passed away March 2, 2010. As you may recall, I have not yet come to turns with my father's passing in Oct. 2005. Although estranged, my husband died April 26, 2010.
My grandson turned 1 year last month and has been walking since 8 months. He is a true joy to me and he helps to keep me focus and smiling although I want to cry.
I, too, start a new job on Tuesday. One I have been trying to get for well over a year.

Sounds like you've had a hell of a whammy there, MICU. My condolences on the passings. You do have the grandson, which is good. You know good darn well that members here would give you needed support.
By the way, did anyone read that story about the Blues Brothers being endorsed by the Vatican?! I swore that, when the story came out, 'they' were a bit peeved about it. Yes, I went to a parochial HS......and loved the show. Basically memorized it, too.
Micu, I am so sorry to hear about the drop-kicks life has dealt you. I always figured you'd be back.... As 'The Bird' said, you know we'll support you any way we can.
Hey, see you all tomorrow; hope you all have/had a great day. If you drop by after I leave.....hope you have a great day, too!
