Right.
You know, they have a pretty constant ad up for applications. Makes me wonder.
I know they were on the most troubled Nursing Home list....: http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2...nspection.html
Federal authorities say a Will County nursing home is now meeting requirements and its funding won't be terminated.
Embassy Health Care Center in Wilmington passed an inspection last week. The facility had been given until Thursday to fix problems or lose its federal money.
The facility is home to about 150 residents and relies heavily on federal and state Medicaid dollars.
It had been cited for neglecting residents' care, failing to prevent pressure sores and overlooking building maintenance.
It's rare for the federal government to pull funding from a nursing home. Last year, the government terminated funds for 18 nursing homes across the country.
Alan Mandel, an attorney for the facility, says the nursing home has been informed it's now in compliance with regulations.
Right.

Instead of the residents having to go other places because of these alleged findings, it should be mandated by law to take care of them through the owners finances and hire people who wants to work.

It is sad. Residents should be treating like kings and queen, regardless of their dispositions, pay status, etc., until their last days. I do not, and I repeat, do not want to go to a nursing home unless I can hand pick the staff.
