    Veteren's Day--Tuesday, November 11th, 2010

Morning, all! Hope you all are doing well today. Also, I hope you remember those who fought/are fighting in the branches of the US Military today, and other days. I haven't seen SoldierNurse around lately, but I do know he'd appreciate it, also.

Of course, all the kids are off today---why them, and not the Vets who deserve it? Just wondering.

Gotta go pay the phone and electric bill---oh, joy! What are the rest of you contemplating?

    Good Morning!

You know, Cat, I wonder the same thing---why DO the kids get off? I never could understand that, though I have been in a few parades for the day.

I will be thinking about my uncle today. I know he is at peace.

Well I'm working today - spent all morning going around to my homes and giving tdap boosters due to the whooping cough epidemic. No wback to my endless round of paperwork.

    Peace and namaste

I'm spending the day with my grandkids. We just got back from a Del Taco run.

Del Taco? Must be a regional place, right? I'd never heard of it.

Got the bills paid for the next month, girlfriend dropped by to gab for a bit. All and all a decent day. Now for decisions on dinner.

I just got off the 'phone with my 'adopted' uncle, a Viet Nam Vet. He's gonna be moving soon, and we were discussing where he was heading to.

Where IS Del Taco located? We have a small place nearby, and another authentic mexican restraunt down the road. Of course, we have Taco Bell, but.....

Del Taco is a chain like Taco Bell only the product is typically better. They have a giant burrito that is good and they serve french fries with their meals which is kind of weird. I think it started in CA and is in some of the other western states.

Hmmmm. Interesting concept---fries with tacos. Perhaps they should have them seasoned with appropriate stuff? Slightly 'pinchy' spices?

We got a Sonics lately, and have heard a Red Robin is going up somewhere.

The fries are plain. They are the crinkle cut kind you can buy frozen at the grocery store.
