Intro from a recovering nurse...

Hi,
I am a nurse who is recovering from both addiction and bipolar disorder. I have been through a diversion program and lived to tell about it, but not unscathed.

I am a doctoral student at UC San Francisco, studying addiction and the stigma of this and other mental illnesses.

I am glad to have found this blog.

I may get the PsychNP, not sure. Probably teaching and research. Concentration is on attitudes toward addicted patients

[COLOR="rgb(0, 0, 0)"]I'm in my third year and I am slowing down...the plague of being pretty much on my own with an adviser to crack the whip. I have only a couple of courses left and then it's all dissertation.
