We've been cleaning here. My friend from California is in, and I am trying to catch up on all the stuff that SHOULD have been done (but never got around to).
Da Moose has been working on our cast iron dutch ovens, and that is a chore and a half. Yes, I have reminded him to do the dang things, but.......
No, no shopping has been done here. Trust me---I don't know what to get anyone, and they are all quiet about what they need, too.

We spent the morning working on my son's American Indian report and creating and authentic looking artifact. We made a ceremonial war club - it looks pretty good if I do say so myself. Now he just has to write the rest of the report tomorrow.

In this day and age, the school district may consider the war club as a dangerous thing. Then again, with some of the new Rules and Regs, the thing just may come in handy. Hope he does well!
Hello. It is too cold to be out shopping. I opened the door yesterday and turned around and went back inside. November weather is meant to be in by the fire with a bowl of soup and cornbread. Hehe...
