So are you roasting them on an open fire? I've been busy getting my tree up and doing some grocery shopping. My son announced to day he wanted a Magic 8 Ball for Christmas. I didn't know they still made them but I found one at Wal-Mart for 5 bucks.
No cookies baked yet - but maybe tomorrow

Yeah, they still have the Magic 8 balls. I still have mine from way back when, and saw one in the local Spencer's!!!
Chestnuts getting roasted in the oven at 350. We don't have a fireplace here. My folks have 2 fireplaces---one on main level, one downstairs. The downstairs one is for roasting potatoes, etc., but I dare not presume to go over and do this yet. Folks are pretty cool, but you know with the Holi-daze and all..... :Nyah-Nyah:
Morning, folks. Wakey, wakey! It's Sunday already. Found an excellent recipe for Taco Dip---made it yesterday---and it went over well. It was for husband's co-worker's Christmas party. Gone in under half an hour.
