    Hospice

New guildlines for hospice and nurse practitioners. Has anyone been hired into these positions and what is the rate of pay? What are the pros and cons?

New guidelines? Please tell me! Perhaps I should do some searching on the subject?

My mind is in such a fuddle---not sure if I'd posted anything of the sort in the Hospice Forum.

From what I understand, hospice clients will require recerts every sixty days. with a face to face practitioner in order to maintain services. this is going to take effect january. used to be able to enjoy the benefits of hospice before but the government realized there was fraud at some level. this will help to prevent and void some of those practices.

Thank you for the clarification. I know that the Hospices we employ in my area do recerts with the attending MD.

Have you dropped by the Hospice Forum? I try to post pertinent threads there. If you ever find anything that would be of help, please post!
