How to get scrub experience?

I am a retired nurse of 25yrs, 16 in ICU and the last 5 in a general OR. Currently on assignment in OR in Alaska. What scrub experience I have I learned from observation.Problem seems to be not enought RN's to let me scrub in. At present several scrubs have agreed to let me scrub in with them. What would be a good way to get managament to let me scrub? Any advice would be appreciated
