Hello everyone,

I am new this this forum, and thought i should introduce myself to you all.

I am not yet a nurse, so I will not be surprised if you "ban" me from the site until I am one. (Ok, so I would be a little bit surprised!) I have only just begum my journey to become a nurse. I have not even taken a class yet. Though I am registered for the Nursing Assistant Training Class, that the local Red Cross is offering. Yes I am a "green" as they come! But you have to start somewhere, right?!?!

I am looking forward to starting this new career, but I have a long road ahead of me. I was hoping that the fine people here would be willing to help me out with some questions that I may have.

From all that I have read, nursing is a very rewarding career, and I can't wait to reap the benefits when the time comes.

Oh and my name is Aaron, in case you didn't already figure that out from my screen name.

Welcome to the site, Aaron!

Ban you for not being a nurse?! Huh? As you have stated, you are beginning your journey; in fact, you are taking your first step by becoming a CNA. THAT says alot, and doesn't quite equate banning you.

You are correct that we all start somewhere, and I'd be glad to answer any and all questions that I can.

Stop by when you are able. You are more than welcome here at UN.

Welcome to the site, Aaron. UltimateNurse is NOT like some other site I'd rather not mention, so rest assured you won't be banned! I seriously doubt that there has been many bannings here.

When does your class start?

Of all day's, it has to start on VALENTINES DAY! I told the person over the phone that this class starts on a horrible day, and her response was..."Well it is a Monday. What is so bad about that?" She clearly did not pick up on the large amount of saracasim that was spewing from my lips. :) Oh well.

I will just have to be very sneaky when giving my DW her valentines this year since I will likely not me home til around 10 pm.

Does anyone know if it is possible to change your screen name. I would rather that it not be my actual name. Let me know if this is possible.

PM me with your requested name change, and I will do it gladly. If not sure how to PM me, click on my name, and hit the PM button.

As for 2/14, think of it this way---your wife will love you more when you get to the end of your road, right?

What a drag, but Cat is right---your wife will love you even more once you become a nurse.

By the way---Grand Marais or bust, but not in this weather. NativeHealer spent alotta time up there when he was young.
