Officials with a University of North Dakota College of Nursing program are touring American Indian reservations across the Midwest this month. Deb Wilson is coordinator of the Recruitment and Retention of American Indians into Nursing Program, better known as RAIN.

She says the tour is an opportunity to show potential students what the UND nursing program has to offer, and to give faculty and staff a chance to see and understand the communities from which students come.

There are three four-day tours this summer: this week across South Dakota and Nebraska; next week across North Dakota; and the following week across Minnesota.
