    G'day

I think your right about the time change - even my son had an easier time getting up this morning. I did my corned beef over the weekend - my hubby doesn't like the crockpot or any electrical appliance left on while we are at work. Say's it's a fire hazard. Even though we all know this is what the crock pot was invented for!!!!!

It looks like we might be getting more rain here over the weekend.

Anyway ----Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to work I go - Let's hope my rezzies all stay well and safe for a bit so I can get my rest.

    Peace and Namaste

    Hppy

Thank GOD for crockpots! Those things are terrific! Please pass on to DH that, in all the years Mom had one, she did NOT have a fire. And my Dad is the one always yelling about Safety First ---50 + years as a Chemist says something.

So anyways the boss called today and said he was considering opening three new facilities to accomodate 18 new residents coming out of the developmental center and was I interested in helping with that? Don't know if I want to take on any more right now - but it would be an interesting challange. I told we needed to talk about compensation adjustments and he didn't say no

That whole situation sounds good, Hppy.

How far away would these 3 new facilities be? That is to be considered...... And how many are there at present?

Here's the difficulty - my current caseload is 36 consumers living in 6 facilities- so my caseload would increase by 18 which would be a lot unless I give up some of the established homes and clients. The distance would be local to my current area so I feel my pay would have to increase by a third which would put close to a 6 figure income. The question is do I need the extra work and responsibility right now. I feel like I would be band aiding other issues with work - a lot depends on what's happening with my health.
