The start of a new day and a new week. Hope everyone is doing well.
I'm doing a bit better - supposed to be on sick leave but need to go in for about an hour to fax some things to the state licensing agent who was at one of my facilities over the weekend. This diverticulitis is kicking my donkey's behind. Then I am going back to bed.

There's always something that needs to be done. Glad you're feeling better. Been sick myself and am feeling better too. Just not better enough!

I ended up spending half the day in the office
My daughter goes in on the weekend and ends up spending the better part of the day and night there. You would think she was getting something worthwhile out of it or something. At least when she was hourly before her promotion she would get OT, shift, and weekend differentials. All of this added effort is on her own for nothing.
Oh I'm pretty well paid - and even when I'm sick I get my full salary - so I don't mind so much. I have a great employer who I love working for - so I little extra mile now and then is no problem. It's just the pain that I'm having trouble with.
