Nursing homes: exemption from health care law?

I read the story and it doesn't surprise me at all. Many non-licensed allied health care workers don't make enough money to afford traditional insurance. But the company's don't need an exemption because this is all part of the liberal plot to force people into the public option which will deliver the same substandard care Canadian, British and Irish citizens have been complaining about for years. I have friends in all three countries who complain about 18 month waits for appointments and treatments. One of my firends in Canada had her father die while waiting to have his Prostate (Cancer) removed (22 months) but then that's the problem with anything free! There's always some catch!
