Hey all.. I am trying to get into travel nursing. I have been a RN for 3 years, and I'm having a hard time getting a position. Is it always this hard to find a job??

Welcome to the site, Katie!

From what I understand, there are some areas of the US that are saturated, some that aren't. All I can say is keep an eye out.

What's your specialty?

It depends. What is your specialty? Most facilities want ER, ICU, OR or L&D nurses with at least 2 years hospital experience and for it to be within the last two years. Also, depending when on what state your license is based in can affect it, too. If you registered online, like a career builder type site, you will probably become inundated with recruiters stalking you...
