Today is the big day. I decide between getting a Glock 21, a nice gun. Or getting a .45 caliber dual action revolver modeled after the old Peace Maker
Give me a flint lock anytime.
It is raining now (yippee!), though the heat index is gonna be up there---again. Some areas getting deluges; we get traces. I need :morningcoffee:
I was up all night after one of my consumers fell and busted open her head - and had to go to ER. Then meetings today and filing accident reports with state and county - fending off a migraine all day.
The flint lock sounds cool - I'm a bit of a gun chick. Have a couple of good hunting shotguns for upland game birds. The dog has been wanting to go out lately. If I crack the gun to clean it she's at the door with the "We going hunting face"
I also have an old four shot revolver that belonged to my dad shoots 38's still in working condition.
Have a good evening everyone - I'm off to catch some Z's
Peace
Hppy
One thing about flint locks is you can't have a loaded gun around the house. Then again, any idiot burglar would NOT necessarily know about our knife arsenal. :rofl
You should see my collection of swords, bayonets, knives, spears, bows and arrows.
Flintlocks and black powder guns are fun. There is a certain appeal to them which can not be denied.
I suspect that Tom feels safe at home.
