One hundred percent of the spring 2011 Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduates at Francis Marion University passed the NCLEX-RN licensure examination on their first attempt.

Thirty-three graduates posted perfect pass rates on the first attempt of the NCLEX exam and are licensed professional nurses.

“We are extremely proud of this year’s nursing graduates, as well as our outstanding faculty,” Dr. Ruth Wittmann- Price, chairwoman of the FMU Department of Nursing, said in a press release issued by the university. “This 100 percent performance is the result of much hard work and also reflects the success of FMU’s nursing curriculum that requires students to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills we want for every nursing student and for every graduate.”
