Monday, September 5th, 2011---- HAPPY LABOR DAY

Morning! Coffee is brewed and ready. Anyone else needing some?

What all's going on elsewhere? Went to an Air Show yesterday; several old WW2 era planes nearby; pretty decent show. Not sure what all I might do today.

And before I forget......

Sorry I've been away - my garden has gone crazy and I'm picking canning freezing - I'm busier than a 1 armed paper hanger - got a pot of homemade green chili stew with rice and cuban black beans going and am headed back out to the garden.

Well I went to work. So nice to have work on Labor Day. Not usually the case.

Hppy,

Now that sounds excellent! How's about posting the recipe. BTW, hope your time away was restful

Cat, that sounds like a lot of fun. We were busy cleaning all morning but then had friends over. Hung out on the deck enjoying smoked pork roast, fresn corn, potato salad, tomato salad, and assorted local beers. It was awesome till the skeeters found us but we just went in. Back to the reality of school work today but now it's everyone and not just me. LOL
