I have been assigned the daunting task of finding the perfect holiday gift for all the 40-or-so nurses in our ER dept. I've been procrastinating but have to order something this week to have whatever I get in time for our Holiday party. I don't want to ask any of the nurses I work with bec it's supposed to be a complete surprise. I call out to you fellow nurses for your opinions. My budget is < $10 per gift and was told to find something 'useful'. I have found a few things but am open to all new suggestions too! Here's what i have found so far:

Cool mug in the shape of lumbar vertebrae. All nurses drink coffee, right? Within the budget!

Syringe Flashlight/keychain. Cute but is the mini flashlight played out already? Pretty inexpensive, but how long will it work for?

Stethoscope Tape Holder. Never saw this item before but I can picture it being well-liked. Well below budget and looks pretty useful!

'Luv a Nurse' Stethoscope Cover. Hmmm speaking as a guy, I don't know about the female nurses, but I wouldn't really want this as a gift as I would feel funny using it.
