So we went to my man cub's first Strings concert last night. The orchestra has only been playing together for less than a month and most of the kids are first year musicians. What they lacked in talent they definately made up for with enthusiasm. Sounded a little bit like cat murder going on - but is was fun to see the kids all dressed up in ties and suits.

Bet that was cute. Hope you got pictures. Was a violinist until my junior year in high school. Got to participate in the county-wide youth orchestra. Have often thought over the years that I would like to take up the violin again just for the fun of it. One of my classmates was on his way to becoming a professional violinist and have also wondered if he was able to stick with it.
