One of my residents passed away last night from an apparent cardiac arrest - on top of that my son got suspended from school for a day and a half for defending himself when another kid who has been bullying him went after him with a brick.

I think it's best if I go find a meeting...........................

I think, at least for me, the Holidays MAGNIFY problems that might not otherwise be so difficult to handle. There were so many days over Christmas and New Years when I wanted to "pick up" I couldn't even begin to count. So hang in there happygr8ful, and congrats for making it through the crisis.

I refuse to even discuss any kind of medication help with a doctor for any problems I might have. I am more than fed up with the sanctimony from everyone involved. I've started to tell people that there is no problem that Jameson Irish whiskey can't solve and the liquor store clerks won't give you a hard time about it. Too bad you have to watch the timing of consumption.
