Hello fellow nurses! I am currently an OR nurse thinking about packing my two littles and husband to give traveling a try. I do currently love my job, but am looking for a little adventure! I would love to travel to Hawaii but first feel like I should travel somewhere remotely close (like Oregon, I am from Washington), in case something bad happens, ie cancelled contract, etc. Doing a lot of research and looking for opinions on what to ask for from companies, best ones, etc. I already know about American Mobile and Aureus, too many bad reviews to even start there.
Also, any one out there fellow operating room nurses? I see a lot of posts for ICU/ER and med/surg travellers, but what about the OR? Any companies out there specifically for us?
Also, has it been hard to travel with a family? Is it hard to find 2 bedroom housing? Thanks so much!!!!
