    Permanent housing while travelling question

If you've read my introduction thread, you have the jist of my situation. I've done some travelling before with Cross-Country, and at the time I kept my rental back here in SC to have a permanent address. This time, it seemes contrary to my goal of paying my way through schooling if I kept my present address while travelling. My question is, if I use someone elses address as my permanent address while travelling, will I be asked to provide proof of my residency there when applying to travel companies. Are there options around this? And what of drivers liscense, etc? Do I need to have these changed as well? Also, can anyone give me some insights into which travel companies are the most recovery friendly? I hope that I am not out of line in asking questions about permanent address like this, but I am new to this type of forum. I also hope to find the answers that I need. Please help. More to come....
