Well...... I relapsed and resigned from my job, turned myself in to tpapn 15 mos ago. Needless to say, they were not impressed. However, I have been clean and sober for 15 mos now, and just got word yesterday that they are going to let me do tpapn again! YAY!!! Sounds weird to be excited about peeing in a cup for strangers, but hey, it's what we do!Anyway, have been working retail to get by and BOY am I ready to get back to nursing. Look forward to chatting with all. Hey happygrateful, where are ya girl? Great to hear from you cougarnurse! K
Funny you should ask as I just signed on today after a couple of months off. I had major surgery in June to remove about 18 inches of my colon which was like swiss cheese from diverticulitis and UC. I got a peritoneal infection then had wound complications and lots of pain. I was back on pain killers for over a month and getting off was easier than I thought thanks to a really good doctor and the support of family. I have been just trying to get all my crap together at work as we are changing over to a completely paperless Web-based charting program and all of our clients have to be manually entered into the sytem. Such a pain but it"s good to be employed in this economy.
