    New Grad Nursing

    Hello;

    In May, 2012 I graduated from a California State School with a major in nursing and a minor in nutrition and food science. Since graduation, I have passed the NCLEX and received my ACLS and PALS certificates. I have always envisioned myself becoming a successful nurse, helping people is my passion.

    I have been actively looking for employment in the northern bay area for the past few months. However, all of the employers I have spoke with are requiring previous experience. I have exhausted my search for employment and have hit a dead end.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for someone in my situation? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    I think the only option is to move to an area where they take new grads.. Most likely out of state..
    I see this as a big problem that hospitals only want experienced nurses...
    Consider out of state nursing new grad positions, such as Vermont, New Hampshire, and Florida for starters.
