fish medication

Guys..
Let me ask one thing Is fish medication meant to colour the water? i am asking just because I added some medication to the water in my fish tank today, the water is green. .

Is it supposed to do that?

Slightly off the beaten path here, but if you're referring to a product called "promethasol", yes, it does color the water blue. I have kept tropical fish for a long time and do from time to time, use this product following "ick" or, "white-spot" infection.
