How long does medication stay in the brain?

We all know that medication leaves the blood after a certain point in time, but how long is there metabolites, etc., stored in the brain..??? do you have knowledge about it...??? share with me

Drugs and metabolites do cross the blood-brain barrier and in my experience, there is at least a 24 hour delay in equilibration.
