Wink Getting a CNA job soon and...

I'm about to be hired by one of two LTC facilities, both offering different shifts, and I was wondering what CNAs do on different shifts. When I had my clinical training, we worked with the 3pm-11pm shift. So, I'm pretty familiar with what goes (HS care, feeding, showers, etc).

One facility is offering me 11pm-7am, while the other is offering 7am-3pm.

So, I guess a huge factor in which job I accept is what goes into each shift? I want to get as much experience as possible, since I plan on going into an LPN program and want to be prepared.

Any help at all is appreciated!

Hey, I have worked all shifts as a CNA and a Nurse. The even. shift is busier than nights. You have dinner, showers, hs care and putting people to bed. On night shift usually you just do bed checks every 2 hours and then depending on where you work you may have to get residents up and dressed for breakfast. Hope this helps.
