Congratulations on your venture into nursing!!!:cool-nurse:
Hello, everyone! I am excited and so glad to finally be in the "nursing"
family. I graduated Dec 2008 and took my boards on yesterday...I am on pins and needles awaiting the results. The computer turned off at 127 and after extensive research I got the last question right, I pray that is a good thing. I am employed as a GNT with the Veterans Hospital in the midwest. I look forward to soaking in all of your nursing knowledge. :banana:
Congratulations on your venture into nursing!!!:cool-nurse:
Welcome to the site, SavedByGrace! I am glad to have you with us.
Years later, I still remember the 'thrill' of taking both LPN AND RN boards. Guess you do remember some things.
I hope you stop by often whenever possible, and let us know what's going on with your job/life, etc. I'm interested in hearing about working at the VA.
MsWendy, I welcome you to the site, also!
'Cat'
Thank you, nice to be a part of the energetic nursing field! I have been so enthralled with investigating travel nursing companies it has take some time to get back to see whats going on:nurse-smiley:
Love your cat!!!!!!=)
Thank you, MsWendy!! His name is Milton, AKA 'ugly cat' (pronounced 'oooogly cat'). You can't tell too well from the picture, but he's snaggle toothed; thus, the nickname.
Remember taking my boards well. Studied for like a month beforehand several hours a day.
Was in and out in 75 questions with no idea how I had done.
Passed on the first time though, was glad to have it over with.

Any word on how you did yet?
Sure hope you passed the NCLEX and are busy at your new nursing job. Friends who have worked at the VA say they loved it.
