Well I spent my day doing nothing as usual. When I went over to my daughter's place, I was surprised with a gift of a fast food meal and box of candy and a handmade card from the grandchildren. Good enough for me. Hope everyone else has been enjoying the day.
Just got in from work, and had the place to myself. Well.....I did have some aides around to help.
Cook out for mom is next week.

Happy Mother's night now that day is over 1030pm here. We went to moms today. I walked the boy and dog there and DH drove. My brother grilled and we had picnic food ie corn on the cob, potato salad etc. My daugher and 1 other son came the other son didn't. My 3 yr old grandaughter wanted to walk the dog so I put the leash on the dog and we walked home stopping at the school so she (the grandaughter) could go down the slides. Then I called back to moms and told them I'd come home and needed to come pick up Abby when they left LOL. Abby and I swept off my front porch (big porch) then I did her nails and she was ready to lay down then (8 blocks is a long way for a 3 yr old to walk).
I start my new job in the morning. I'm already looking forward to Aug 1 and hopefully a new travel job.
Oh I had a garage sale this weekend and made $950 which shows how much junk I had and still have plenty left for this coming weekend...It rained on Friday so only did a little selling then. I'll have less big ticket items this weekend then any clothing not sold goes to the goodwill.
Give me advance warning on next sale. I may have something to get rid of. :rolleyes:
next sale is this weekend then maybe a weekend in June and one in July to get rid of junk then if I'm home in the fall more winter type stuff $950 isn't bad mine isn't all used stuff lots of new stuff that I got almost free then charge 1/2 of what the store would charge so win win
