Hi. I have been out of school for about six months, and I love being a nurse, specifically a peds nurse! I am interested in traveling after I get my year in, but I am married with a child. I'm not sure how it will work out, but this site will surely help!

I am also a peds nurse...PICU. I have been traveling for almost a year now. I have been able to pick up assignments within a few hours drive and have my shifts in a row. This allows me to leave home for only a few days a week. I also stay in a hotel (picket the stipen) ehile working. I have been able to get some great deals (hotel) near the hospital. My husband stays at home with the kids. Although my youngest is 15, they are sometimes more difficult to care for. It is working so far. Let me know how it works out, or if you need a suggestion for hospitals to go to.
