    Nursing Liability Insurance

    What should I look for in a good liability insurance coverage besides a good rate...can anyone help?

    The most important thing here, is, you need to have your own insurance. Never trust that your employer's insurance will cover you, and protect you. Most likely you'll get left out there on your own.

    You want a policy that has at least 3 million of coverage. It should provide you with your own attorney. They also have provisions for injury from assault. The instructors I had way back when recommended CNA. They always have their ads and those annoying post cards that fall out of the journal. It's less than $100/year.
