I was just wondering if there are any Canadians on this forum. If so..could you please help me in regards to getting started re...state licences.
Also, I was wondering from everyone one about any suggestions for a newbie traveller, eg. which states are better, etc.

Hi Penne...I am a Canadian, but I can't help you out with the licence thing (I'm only a student)...but I can help you out with a little bit of travel advice so that you don't stand out too much. If you want a more relaxed atmosphere avoid Ontario or Quebec, but if you want madness...come to Southern Ontario...especially the major cities (Toronto etc). There is a lot of diversity here and I love Canada...feel free to email me if you want. Oh and we have provinces, not states

I think that for the first couple years out of school I will probably go to the USA...they are offering us great incentive packages, it would be insane to turn them up...but I think that I will return to Canada in the end...I really do love it here. I'm not sure where for either time...I'm just in first year.

I'm a canadian nurse too. I'm seeking for some opportunities as a travel nurse in the US but I'm a newbie and I would like, first of all, to get your own suggestions about the agencies... I'm looking for something in new england and east coast area.
Vancouver BC is the most relaxed, it also has the mildest weather, however it does rain and/or have grey skies alot, so if you have S.A.D its probably not the best place for you. The winters are really mild though, unlike the rest of Canada.
