Just to be curious, is there anything in particular that anyone would like to discuss? Hey, the field is wide open.
Good morning, everyone! Here's hoping for a bit more rain out this way. Things are overcast, but not sure if we'll actually get anything.
So, what's everybody up to? You've all been pretty quiet; no-one's posted in a few days. What's going on? That busy? Or that boring?

Hi everyone I just wanted to let you know that my dad died at about 1:30 this morning at home. He'd come home from the hospital on Friday evening after being there over 2 weeks on this visit. I had stopped over there after work last night and helped him get from his room to the family room where he watched a little of the St Louis Cardinals game then got him to the table to sit while people at dinner (he wouldn't eat any but had a little earlier) He went to bed around 9 with a sleeping pill but stayed awake until 11ish. He called out to mom as she'd stepped out of the room for a minute while he was asleep but he didn't have a pulse when she got there, my uncle did CPR until the ambulance came and they shocked him once but mom told them to stop as he wouldn't have wanted anymore done or to be revived only to die in the hospital in a few days.
My mother and brothers and I have to go to the funeral home in a few hours to make some final arrangements but we'll probably have visitation on Tuesday night with services on Wed and burial in his family's spot about 2 hours north of here
Oh, Cass....I am SOOOO sorry to hear about dad passing away. He was home, and with your mother; at least he wasn't alone. Many hugs to you and yours, and thank you for letting us know. My prayers are with you all.

Cass, my sincere sympathy.
I don't know how you feel personally, but I loss my father 2 years ago. There are days that are better than others. Take the time to mourn in your own way.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time in your lives.
