Welcome, Rachel; I'll be honest...I think many of us feel this way at one time or another. Of course, you've pretty much just started, too. What seems to be giving you doubts? We'll listen, and try to help.

Hi all,
I'm a Canadian nursing student in the second semester of my first year. I found this site because I was looking for advice, as I'm starting to have doubts about myself in this profession!:33:

Welcome! Let us know if we can be of any help!
Thanks for the welcome!
I have posted my "concerns" under the General Discussion area, entitled "Do I have what it takes to be a nurse?" because I didn't know if it would be appropriate to post them here.
Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. (that's what I'm here for!)
Rachel welcome to nursing. Only you know if you have what it takes to be a nurse. Don't get discouraged by one clinical environment that may not be your cup of tea. March on in your nursing program to get a better idea of what nursing is all about. It is a field with many different opportunities. I'd bet you will find your niche, which does not have to be LTC.
