    Emerald Healthcare and non-taxed allowance

I looking for other travelers who have worked with Emerald Healthcare. I am currently on assignment with them. They are paying me a base of $20/hr for the first 8hrs and $30/hr for the last 4hrs. I have a two bedroom unfurnished apt with ulities paid. I also get $3200.00/month non-taxed. They promised I would not get a 1099 on this money but I'm a little worried. Was wondering if there was anyone out there that had worked for this company and received a W-2 for last year. I would be very interested in talking to you. Thanks for the time and travel on!!

I am also working for Emerald right now. I don't understand this tax free stuff yet either. I don't have any answers for you but I really hope you get a reply from someone. I would be very interested also. The company is great though. They do everything for me, and I love my recruiter.
