Good morning! Hope everyone's doing great today; one more day after today, and it's the weekend.
No, Soldier, not ignoring you. Was multi-tasking, and celebrated the ol' anniversary, also. Today, gotta take someone to a doctor's visit, so will be gone for a while later on.
Now.....for coffee!

I'm here... good morning! Just now working on my first cup of coffee. Wife & I were really tired last night after our drive from Travis AFB, CA to MCAS Miramar, CA, which was over 500 miles. Kind of tough driving through LA traffic on I-5, especially with me trying to make sure of our correct route while my wife is following in her car.
This morning we head out for a little visit at MCRD San Diego, where I went to boot camp back in 1980. Then, we will stop at MCAS Yuma, AZ where I was stationed from 1982-1984. We will most likely spend the night at FT Huachuca, AZ where an Army buddy is assigned. Tomorrow we will stop at EL Paso for a couple of days to visit with Susan's Mom & brothers.

You can keep CA driving and freeways. Only thing worse is the Bohrman (I80/94 in Indiana). Heck, if my dad can handle the Autobahn in Germany, and D.C. driving and swear off the Bohrman.....it's telling you something.
10pm here almost ready for bed.
Travel thing is still in the works. Had the interview while on the beach last week now the NM is on vaction until next week but I was submitted to another place yesterday (which I'd rather have) so we'll see what comes through. I have my full time job and plan to stay there until my yearly review to get my lump sum which is due at the end of the month and if the offers don't come that I like nothing says I have to go right away we'll see.
1st day back started slow but by 10am we were getting slammed. Had a delivery at 7:14 right when I'm ready to leave...how it usually happens
