Helloooo? Anybody out there? :star:
It's the weekend! How's everyone doing thus far? Just waking up, going to sleep, or what?
'Manda....what's up with the car bit? When you supposed to get the new one?
Haven't seen Soldier in a bit. :33:
Cass, I probably won't do any 'living' at B&N for about 2 weeks. Have to take someone to a wake tonight, and next weekend is already taken up. 'Rhett Butler's People' is in paperback, did you see?

The new car is currently being delivered from WI, will arrive Monday or Tuesday. I finally have a few days off in a row- yeah!

So when do you officially start working the floor?
well, I was in triage all day Friday, orienting to their triage, and next week they have my orienting on the floor for 3 DAYS! That seems like overkill, more than I've ever had as a traveler before, but, if they want to pay me and waste my contract with orientation, then that's their deal.....

I worked today but did get off at 5:30 after the deliveries were done and moved to PP. Had to run by the flower/craft store to get a couple of monument toppers for my grandparents and uncles graves (mom wanted some for fall she'd already got one for dads). Really tired today I was about ready for bed last night when my 25 year old called and decided it was time she needed to talk and didn't stop talking until after 11pm.
I need to give the dog a bath DH had her outside too long today and she smells like a dog LOL.
I have Rhett Butler's People in hardback so hadn't thought about it in paperback. I still have to finish the Jude Deveroux one I'm on now. She reads pretty quickly but I just haven't really sat and read on my days off just a few pages before bed (not last night) I should have taken it to work today but if I would have it would have been stupid crazy that's usually how it goes we have feast or famine.
'Manda, I guess the place wants to know you understand how they do things. You may go back there one day, and be glad of it.
Cass, I tend to get paperbacks; take up less space if I take 'em with me. Also, easier if I donate them, too. By the way, aren't dogs supposed to smell a bit 'doggy'? Ears are a bit different, though.
