I cannot speak to Avandia, but I am a longtime supporter of Public Citizen Congressional Watch Group andif they say it should be banned, I trust them!! Founded originally by Ralph Nader years ago, (when he was a bit more on target than now) but now independent of him, it is an activist/lobbying group that advocates for the small guy with an eye on healthcare. They have position papers on a number of issues, including one near to my heart, US state medical regulatory boards and the disservice they do to patients. Go to their website and you can sign up for their alerts. They fight for the issues the average guy lets go under the radar that gets passed everyday in our government, to the detriment of an overwhelmed and disillusioned public. I am glad there are still people out there for us!
