Good afternoon, 'Manda! And oh, squat! I knew I forgot something today, but didn't realize it was the Daily Thread.

Things were pretty crazy here....phone calls and all. So...Grad school, eh? Better you than me. I have no desire to continue anything, except the CEU's we have to do. So, you gonna settle down now?

    Re: Wednesday, December 3, 2008

I'm going to do an online MSN program while I continue to travel & work full-time. I was deciding between Loyola, George Washington University, & St. Joseph's in Maine. Loyola would take longer, and is more expensive, George Washington is SUPER expensive and I would have to go to Washington DC twice a year, so I applied to St. Joseph's. My main thing is I want to go someplace that has a completely on-line program, but also has an actual brick-and-mortar school to back it up (no Kaplan or University of Phoenix type places for me!)

So, St. Jospeh's it is. I will probably start classes this summer (July-ish), and will hopefully be able to finish in a little less than 2 years. The degree is for an MSN in Nursing Education, and my goal is to be a clinical educator for a hospital. We will probably continue to travel while I go to school, and will settle down someplace when I am done- then I guess we will have to think about growing up and buying some real estate, having some kids- the usual "adult" stuff...

Good luck and all. My one former LPN instructor is getting on my case about getting my MSN, but I basically told her to stow it: If it involve Stats, you can kiss that idea goodbye. (I do clearly remember her snorting.....and I hate that.) :33:
