Missouri Western State University awarded the Dr. Wallace McDonald Nursing Scholarship to Molly Fulk, senior nursing major, of Clarinda, Iowa, for the 2009-2010 academic year.

The Dr. Wallace McDonald Nursing Scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Wallace McDonald by the family of Rose Hirsch. Recipients are juniors or seniors majoring in nursing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Last year, Western committed more than $5.5 million of university funds to student scholarships. Additionally, the MWSU Foundation awarded scholarships totaling more than $673,790 to 532 students.
