Good morning! Looks like I am the first to post today.

What happened to yesterday's post? Only Cougar showed up. That stinks.

So how's everyone doing? Good, I hope. Weather is kinda funky here right now. No rain, but we do need it.

We were down an aid or two yesterday, and another one is basically useless; thus, we were working with 2 1/2 aides. Oh, and one nurse. THAT gets old after a while. Does anyone else have shifts like that?

Well, I gotta get moving for a bit. Will try to be back later.

Good morning, everyone, and thanks for starting the Daily Thread, 'Bird! Don't know what all happened with yesterday's thread. Everyone must have been sleeping or working. Then again, I can't be sure.

I had a goofy day at work, too. At least I got through it. Have several things going through my mind right now, and am trying to sort through them at the present. Hopefully, it'll all work out.

I hear coffee calling, as usual.

    Hi folks,

Happy Grandparent's Day to those of you who are.

I'm having a good Sunday and lightening my load a little. I've been teaching Confirmation class since last year and final class was today. It's been a lot of fun and I love the kids but am really glad it's over. I need a little breathing space and will covet that open Sunday. Daughter #2 is giving a concert this afternoon so we're getting ready for that now. Daughter #1 is enjoying a "day off" and catching up on schoolwork. Son is working all day. Wife is working too, followed by mentoring a class this afternoon. Ahhh, breathing space is SOOO GOOD.

Hopefully I'll learn to KEEP breathing space and not fill it right away and that others in my over-committed family will seek to find some of their own breathing space, too.

    CYA later,

    R

Hey, Ricu; i see no-one's been by since your post. Oh, well.

Had to send someone out at change of shift, and they came back 15 minutes before I was to clock out. Par for course.

Day went a bit fast, but everyone was a bit on the squirrely side. Full moon was LAST week!

So you have a revolving door at work too. Sometimes we get them back too; next day or two or even the following week. We accuse the floors of "breaking" the patients but many people are so fragile that it doesn't take them much. Hope the new/old player gets better soon.
