For those who don't call in or show up

All I will say is you are rude, and ignorant. Your (former) co-workers have lives, also, and you make it pretty much impossible for us to live said lives (or what we have left).

All I can say is :nurse-bird: and I hope you get what is coming to you.

Does that also include co-workers who come in to work, clean out their locker, and then leave? Yes, that means they are scheduled to work, and walk out.

I agree with you: those type of people are total morons.

disclaimer: i'm not saying it's right.. just curious

Cat: I wonder why dont ppl call in and say hey.. I'm sick.. My dog ran away.. i got to go find him or her..

question .. Are u obliged to go in or even answer your phone? Honestly, i can see me turning off my phone to my next scheduled day.. Mind needs to rest ..

Re: For those who don't call in or show up

All I know right now is that when I started, quite often there would be NO, I repeat, NO over-night nurse. Come to find out, I worked with this particular dip before (shift started at 7, but she'd never be able to make it til 9:15, and left at 1.....'for a class'). That really cut into what I was supposed to be doing, and what the heck! I did all her work already.

I degress. I have no idea what all is up, but once again, people are calling off or just not showing up for work. Talk about rudeness. I 'would' like a day or two off without worrying about getting called in. Pee's the heck outta me.

Smiles, let me clarify the whoooole story: Said co-worker had just taken 2 weeks of vacation. She'd bellyache about staff, and would talk about them, also. No sooner got back from vacation, got written up for not taking ONE pill out of let's say 20 ATC packages. (We all would waste the things, and not go through the hassle of unrolling the bloody packages.) She got bent, and the next day, walked in, cleaned out locker, and left.....ON a day she was to work. Also is claiming the age bit would be the next thing.
