    Question what to read

I have recently been accepted into a practical nursing program; what are some good publications to read to help with learning the language?

    Re: what to read

You'll find plenty to read in your study materials

Seriously though, there are a lot of publications out there, try:

LPN 2006:"is the new, peer-reviewed resource that focuses on the skills needed by practical nurses to safely deliver bedside care to their patients in any practice setting. Feature articles bring the practical nurse up-to-date on what he or she needs to know about caring for patients with common disease states, such as cardiovascular disease, respiratory diseases, neurologic diseases, diabetes, and wounds."

    Re: what to read

Welcome to the site, we need all the nurses we can get. Feel free to ask questions about nursing, our careers. Have a lot of decades worth of experience on these boards.

It's better to ask your questions before you think about applying to nursing school.

    Sincerely,
