Now to veg: I am sicker than anything, still blowing a temp of anywhere from 99.3 to 99.7, and hacking up furballs. At least I ain't going anywhere soon.

How's the rest of you doing?

sorry to read that you are sick!

It's sunny. I need to finish my project. I have to perform 10 vital signs on friends and family. Haha! Family is up north. Friends are hiding from me. It's like they are afraid that I'm going to stick them with a needle

Your first stick will probably be on an orange, and using normal saline. :nurse-rofl:

Red face Re: Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Probably. Last time I got a cold, I distinctly remember that there had been a noticeable change in weather. Rest up until you have to go to work.

I went to a friend's hair salon and did 3 bp's. Umm! need a lot of practice.
I went to a friends house and had her do my bp. She's learned a totally different way from me. Also, she take the sphygo.... to 180 or 200mg. Omg! that hurts.. But she showed that you can hear at the brachial well. She can do it by not wearing a stethoscope. Her daughter (h.s. jr CNA remember i live in FLA) can do bp with easily and differently too.

Cat, I hope you are resting good. Take some cod liver oil.. you'll feel better in a quickie

Cod liver oil? I'd be oozing for sure.

Did take a nap, however briefly, then went to B&N until closing. Can you say I grew roots in the chair?

Re: the BP: I had been taught to take it to about 180, also. Then, you have some seniors with really low BPS......

I thought I was the only one taught to take it to about 180. Excelsior requires no more than, I think, 30 higher than a person's baseline. Now, how often do I ever find out what someone's baseline is?!
