I did doze off, and had to get up for some water; it is close 90, if not 90 itself. Thankfully, I am off tomorrow. There's talk about it being warm then, too. Well, we wanted warm weather.

Okay - going to vent now - I went - Last week one of my consumers - a 78 bi-polar with moderate mental retardation was constipated. I got things moving with Miralax and an enema - and left very specific instructions with the Doctors orders and flow sheets for input and output, diet etc... The house staff didn't document a thing and one of them was heard to remark that the directions were stupid and she wasn't going to do it. She's bit of a ring leader so the rest of the staff followed her lead.
The care staff don't get paid a lot only $8/hr but they know what their job is they just don't care. I'd like to fire them all but I have to work with the management about hiring some new one's. Plus the administrator of this particular house wants to defend them, because she doesn't want the hassel of disaplining them.
