Wow very tough day dealing with group home staff that either doesn't know or doesn't care what to do. I guess when your company pays minimum wage that's what you get! When you pay bananas you get monkey's right?

Hppy, I hear ya. However, how 'bout staff who are NOT CNA's being promoted to being a LEAD person? Sorta bites, eh?OR the folks who, despite what the rules and regs say, do what they want, and get away with it? Oh, and if you are NOT in their clique, you get blamed for stuff that they get away with.
We don't have CNA's in my homes - and I'm not sure how one gets promoted to house leader - What really bites is that under California Law and Title 22 of the healthcare institutions code we have unlicensed staff passing meds to clients. I have to audit and over see this practice. Plus the staff don't call you whenthey should but then call for really stupid stuff like a clogged sink.
